Winter at Sandhill is about getting outside, taking your time, and enjoying the grounds in a whole new way. Our Winter Activity Pass gives you access to skating, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing during regular Sandhill hours — with moments that feel especially special once the lights come on.

Snowshoeing at Sandhill is about wandering and discovery. Guests are welcome to explore the grounds freely in snowshoes, and to walk the Forest of Light path during off hours, taking in the scenery from a new perspective.

Our skating area sits right at the centre of Sandhill — surrounded by greenery in the warmer months and soft winter light as the season shifts. During the day, it’s bright and open. In the evening, it becomes something quieter and more magical as the lights glow overhead.
