Caroline Marie Brooks, one-third of Canadian folk trio Good Lovelies, brings her thoughtful songwriting to her second solo album, Light and Matter. Rooted in earthy folk-pop, the album explores nature, sisterhood, motherhood, friendship, and the connections that bring people together. With warm melodies, poetic lyrics, and intricate arrangements, Brooks creates music that is both uplifting and deeply reflective.

A graduate of HumberCollege’s music program and an award-winning composer, Jay brings a versatile blend of musicianship, great vocals, and an easygoing stage presence to every performance.As a solo artist, he delivers a carefully curated mix of familiar favourites and crowd-pleasing songs—perfect for an afternoon on the patio, a relaxed evening, or any occasion where great live music sets the mood.
