Old Man Luedecke

Old Man Luedecke is the stage name of two-time JUNO Award winner and Polaris Prize-nominated singer-songwriter Chris Luedecke. Known for his high-energy banjo tunes, heartfelt ballads, and dry wit, he’s been crafting an authentic folk sound for nearly two decades.


Based in rural Nova Scotia, Luedecke has recorded acclaimed albums with producers Steve Dawson and Tim O’Brien in iconic studios from Nashville to Montreal. His songs like “I Quit My Job” and “The Early Days” offer a moving, humorous soundtrack to everyday life.


A seasoned performer, he’s toured across the globe and was awarded an honorary doctorate in 2022 for his cultural contributions.

A Garden Variety Improv Show

Get ready to laugh your plants off at A Garden Variety Improv Show! Set inside the cozy charm of Greenhouse #4 at Sandhill Nursery, this one-of-a-kind comedy night is in full bloom. Featuring Second City Alumnae—Dave Pearce, Kerry Griffin, Jennine Profetta, and Linda Kash—these quick-witted performers will grow on you fast, turning your suggestions into laugh-out-loud scenes. Sip on some tasty drinks from the Rusty Rake, soak in the garden vibes, and enjoy a night that’s ripe with humour. It’s the root of all fun this fall at Sandhill’s Festival—don’t “leaf” without a ticket!

David Francey

David Francey is a Scottish-born, Canadian-raised carpenter-turned-songwriter known as one of Canada’s most revered folk voices. A former rail yard and bush worker, he began writing poetic songs on the job and only started performing in his 40s with encouragement from his wife, artist Beth Girdler. His 1999 debut Torn Screen Door became a Canadian hit, launching a career that includes 13 albums, four JUNO Awards, and multiple international songwriting prizes. Francey’s songs capture the grit, beauty, and humanity of working-class life, told with honesty, humour, and heart. He now lives in Ontario’s Lanark Highlands with his family.

Irish Mythen

Irish Mythen (They/Them) is a powerhouse performer known for their raw vocals, magnetic stage presence, and deep connection with audiences. Born in Ireland and based in Prince Edward Island, Irish has performed on world stages from the Sydney Opera House to Glastonbury Festival. Their breakout album Little Bones earned a 2020 JUNO nomination and multiple Canadian music awards. Their self-titled album also received widespread acclaim. With features in Rolling Stone and Australian Guitar Magazine, Irish is celebrated worldwide. Their live shows are unforgettable, blending emotion, storytelling, and soul-stirring music. A highly anticipated new album is set to release in Spring 2026.

Surrounded by vibrant foliage, crackling leaves, and cozy autumn vibes, it’s a night of stand-up comedy set in the heart of Muskoka’s most beautiful season.
