Available Positions
Garden Centre Associate
Responsibilities:
• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing garden products
• Provide excellent customer service and answer any questions regarding gardening techniques, plant care, and product recommendations.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer transactions and handle cash handling responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly stocked and displayed
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for customers
Requirements
• Previous experience in customer service or retail sales preferred
• Knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care is a plus
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is beneficial
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain a tidy sales floor and manage inventory.

• Working in all weather conditions/seasons.

Landscape & Garden Maintenance Labourer
Responsibilities:
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
• Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Prune and shape trees and bushes
• Weed and mulch garden beds
• Irrigate plants and maintain irrigation systems
• Operate hand tools and power tools for gardening tasks
• Clean and maintain gardening equipment
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or gardening preferred
• Knowledge of different plants, flowers, and trees
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in gardening
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• 40+ hours/week, full-time, contract, seasonal
• Experience operating excavator, stone saw and skid steer
• Able to work in a team environment
• Must have strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience installing Muskoka granite, treads, flagstone, retaining walls is an asset.
• Horticultural knowledge is an asset.
• Able to take direction from others.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and D license an asset.
• Possess strong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures.
• Mechanical knowledge of equipment and trucks is an asset.
• First Aid, WHIMIS and CPR are assets.
Wage will be based on experience.

Delivery Driver
We are currently looking to hire a dynamic individual for the 2024 season. The following is a description of the job and required qualifications:
• Assist both garden centres, landscape and maintenance departments in daily deliveries of landscape materials.
• Seasonal full-time position.
• Must have a valid G license (D License an asset).
• Ability to drive a truck and trailer.
• Ability to work efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Horticultural knowledge is an asset, but not required.
• Ability (or willingness to learn) plant materials and other supplies.
• Ability and knowledge of planting trees are an asset.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
• Able to take direction from others.
• Ability to work on job sites if needed, helping crews perform daily functions.
• Must be familiar with the Muskoka area.
• Keep trucks and other equipment used in clean and good working order.
• Mechanical knowledge of equipment and trucks is an asset.
• First Aid, WHIMIS and CPR an asset.
• Possess strong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures.
