Gooseberry 'Black Velvet' 1 gal

This is a dual-purpose berry. When picked early (while still reddish-purple), it is tart and excellent for pies, jams, and tarts. When allowed to fully ripen to a dark velvet black, it becomes sweet enough for fresh eating right off the bush.
