Notes: Burgundy tricolour foliage, deer resistant and slow mounding habit. Sharp thorns, highly tolerant of salt and sand. This shrub thrives in any kind of soil, including poor, sandy soils, and it is drought resistant once established. It can be allowed to grow naturally for low-maintenance, but it is also easily clipped if you want a neater form.
